Last post
Ok, I must confess that I was forced to take this subject, and wasn`t pleased to do it because I`m in the last years of my career and didnt know that I had to take English, so I went to Simon taked the test and fell here. As I say before I wasn`t pleased to take an English subject, in school it was very boring and I didn`t learned a thing so I thought it would be similar here. I was wrong, the teacher is good and maybe a bit to positive but it was a good experience. Most of what I had learned of this language was by "osmosis". I like to read (book and comic) and play video games and most of things are in English or translated in English so I just began to read things in English, I know Dutch so learning another language is a bit easier. Later in the university most of the things we must read are in English, most of things in Antropology and Arqueology aren`t translated so if you don`t understand you are good as dead. Here my English was polished. Because most of my contact with the language is written my speaking was poor, ok maybe it`s still poor but it doesn`t sound so awful as when I started this subject. Also I improved my writting skills, despite I read much my spelling is terrible despite the language I`m writing, Spanish, Dutch, English it doesn`t matter I make a lot of spelling mistakes. As I say earlier I have improved but that doesn`t mean that I have mastered something. In that sence the exercise of written in this blog has accomplished to some degree it purpose. Now I can write with some degree of dignity not only here but also on reddit, sometimes a post sometimes a replie. In the end it was a good experience despite I didn`t have much faith in this. It was a nice detour.
